Extremely concise article on "state of affairs" in Western World ....

This article was Posted by DadofTwo
under the title "Destroy the family, and you destroy society." (V. I. Lenin) and it was so well written summary of the laws in Western world that I have reproduced it here verbatim to enlighten those in India who are blindly trying to emulate THE West. Articles is more of birds-eye view of Western state of marriage.

No-fault divorce was invented by the Bolsheviks in 1918. The Bolsheviks destroyed the old bourgeois notions of the family and the home, and recreated an allegiance to the government. The United States began a social experiment with no-fault divorce with California's passage of the Family Act of 1969. The term no-fault divorce is misleading. Rather than no-fault divorce, what we have is unilateral divorce.

No-fault divorce is the dissolution of a marriage, upon petition to the court by either party, without the requirement of fault on either party. Either party may request, and receive, the dissolution of the marriage, despite the objections of the other party.

Marriage is a contract, and no-fault divorce allows either party to breach the contract without penalty. There is no legal defense against a petition for dissolution of a marriage under no-fault divorce. The radical swing from 100% fault-based divorce to 100% unilateral non-binding marriage is a failed social experiment. It is today's equivalent of Prohibition. Over 50% of all first marriages end in divorce.

The statistics for subsequent marriages are even worse. More than half of all these marriages that end in divorce involve children. Whether these are contested divorces or not, the family court will control the careers, incomes, wealth, debts, and lives of these mothers, fathers, and children until the children are between 18 and 21 years of age.According to the Americans for Divorce Reform, as the divorce rate soared, so did the number of children involved in divorce.

Since in 1972, over one million American children every year have seen their parents divorce. There are over 40 million non-custodial parents and over 50 million children of divorce. There is much discussion about the protection of marriage, and President Bush proposed a marriage amendment to the Constitution. While this is admirable, it will not protect the institution of marriage until we end our failed social experiment with Bolshevik no-fault divorce.

The unintended consequence of prohibition was the rise of organized crime. The (unintended?) consequence of unilateral divorce is the achievement of Lenin's goal, the destruction of the family.Attorneys, who were elected to their state's legislature, or to the Congress, wrote most of today's divorce laws.

When one becomes an attorney, one becomes a member of the Judicial Branch of government.

The separation of powers doctrine of the Constitution prohibits a member of the Judicial Branch from also being a member of the Legislative Branch. These attorneys were successful in creating a complex network of laws that guaranteed their involvement in our lives.

In 2004, the Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court declared that marriage was no longer an institution in that state. She pointed out that over two-thirds of all litigation in Michigan was divorce related. The Democratic Party has been the major proponent of laws and programs that continue the destruction of the family and the demonization of the male.

They have gone so far as to promote misandry (hatred of men) in the United States as a form of political correctness. The Republican Party is moving in the direction of the Democratic Party as it courts the female vote.

As the Republican Party strives to redefine itself, it moves in the direction of the Democrats and is becoming the "other" big government party. The viability of third parties in the United States is extremely limited, although the Libertarians have succeeded in electing some state and local officials in the Mid-West.

Perhaps the most glaring and blatantly unconstitutional example of misandry is VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), in all of its forms. Democrats Biden, Kennedy, Clinton, and other fellow travelers pushed VAWA through the Congress.

Baiden is now pushing for I-VAWA.Leftists perpetuate the myth of the "Deadbeat Dad" for political gain, although research discredited this myth. Ironically, it is non-custodial Mothers with the worst child support payment record.

Research shows that over 75% of the non-payers have no income, are disabled, or are incarcerated. This is despite the fact that academic and government research proved that child support vastly exceeds the cost of raising a child. Our adversarial legal system feeds upon the conflict that is inherent in divorce.

The children pay for the conflict and the lawyers profit from it. We cannot protect our children until we end the Communist's no-fault divorce and take the profit out of divorce. The unintended consequence of prohibition was the rise of organized crime. The (unintended?) consequence of unilateral divorce is the achievement of Lenin's goal, the destruction of the family and the rise of the organized crime system known as the family courts (can you say RICO?)

Shiney is being framed by his Own wife, Me Thinks!

Disclaimer: I hold no grudge or ill will against anyone when I express my views. None of my comments are meant to be interpreted adversely. I am merely stating my own interpretation of events. I represent no parties in the legal dispute nor do I wish to impede on investigation by competent authorities.

When the news of Shiney Ahuja being alleged of a rape by his housemaid became public, many of us were shocked. Whether we liked it or not, we were led into following the news of Shiney Ahuja that seemed to be gushing forth out of papers and TV as if a water main had been burst.

More and more events unfolded as days went by. It was so dramatic that with each new event, I found myself redoing the whole jig saw puzzle of Shiney Rape case over and over again to see how pieces were fitting with one another in overall scheme of things.

Out of sheer curiosity, I have followed the story and news articles and following is my analysis on what is going on behind the Shiney Curtain (PUN Intended)

On the day after which Shiney was arrested, I found myself along with many others camped outside Oshiwara Police Station (where Shiney was held) as if just by being there, we’d figure out the whole case in a jiffy.

At the very onset of event, I had a feeling that Shiney was being framed by his maid for sake of money.

Thanks to my work and activities as a Volunteer in the Save Indian Family Foundation, I knew about a proposed law scheme that would entitle a rape victim to claim and obtain sum of up to 2 lakh rupees to 5 lakh rupees from the Government of India. You may read one of the many articles present on the subject of aid to rape victims by clicking on the link here

This sounded like a reasonably good motive as sum of Rs. 2 lakh was indeed a large sum for a poor young woman working as a house maid.

However, I also kept wondering if maid had settled for too less. Given that the accused was a celebrity, the maid could have garnished far more moolah for self if she devised a plan to blackmail him and/or his family instead.

Although the precise age or name of the maid is not published, it is not of too much relevance. Her age can be any number between 16 and 20.

Let us consider the maid first and imagine a typical young modern day Mumbai woman who works as a housemaid. I’d imagine that she is like many others belonging to large mass of the urban poor who are forced into doing menial jobs.

It is reasonable to assume that housemaids are not very well educated and may not know of any skills other than the routine household work.

More importantly, given their financial strength, it is too probable that women who work as housemaids have developed definitive dislike for the Police. Many have been probably forced to spend some part of her life in slums of Mumbai and as such, they may also have experienced enough traumas caused by demolition vans and lathi charges of the Police to genuinely want to stay away from any shades of Khakhi.

I'd venture that an average housemaid in Mumbai may never honestly believe from within that the "Police will help her".

Hence, the fact that Shiney's housemaid approached the Police so quickly after the incident and managed to say all that was necessary (and sufficient) to prompt the Police into taking action puzzled me a lot.

I was forced to re evaluate my opinion of her and make a guess that either she could have been paid to appear as belonging to poor class or she had been picked and groomed for the specific job. I’d also say that it is likely that she also had looks that were tempting enough.

What I am trying to make you consider is that she was sufficiently trained for performing a specific mission, let us call it a sting operation.

IMHO, The housemaid at Ahujas was not an ordinary maid but a well-informed lady who was made to function as a "bait".

Next, let us take a closer look at the the accused, Mr. Shiney Ahuja now.

Almost every man with whom I discussed or overheard discussing Shiney case wondered out aloud that "Why on earth did Shiney have to go after a maid in first place for sake of sex?"

Read online comments posted for articles of Shiney printed in Times of India.

Many suggested that had he been so desperate, he would have had far easier choices from his fan base who'd probably remain grateful and anonymous.

"He'd have plenty to pick and choose from!", was the most common opinion voiced.

Perhaps more than the alleged crime, I felt that these folks were shocked that Shiney had stooped down to rape a house maid.

Maybe people would not have been so annoyed or so interested had the allegations of rape originated from some aspiring film actress.

Next let us briefly consider the alcoholic habits of Shiney Ahuja.

Reading from the news, I have seen so far, he was in drunken state inside his house when Police first paid him a visit. In initial police reports, he is reported being abrasive and arrogant towards Police.

Given his overall background, it is also likely that Shiney drinks on regular basis and his habits of getting drunk are likely to be known to his wife very well.

Are you guys with me so far?

Good! Then let us now move on to how the "bait" managed to designated place.

Assuming that Ahuja household functions like many other urban Indian households, it is very likely that the affairs involving hiring and firing of maids and all other servants was largely governed by Mrs. Ahuja and Shiney was little more than cosmetic.

The "bait" maid had started working less than two months ago gives strength and credibility to my doubts that she was hired for a specific mission.

After briefing her and overseeing her for about a month, an out of station trip was organized and the "bait" was left alone with Shiney.

You think this is ridiculous? Well, try to answer this:

How many sane Indian married women would otherwise abandon their house in care of barely known young maid and husband of 15 years (whose drinking habits are known to his wife) otherwise?

Now, let us focus upon Mrs. Ahuja

When I first learnt that Shiney was married and his wife was currently out of station when the incident happened, the first thought that came to my mind was:

Here comes another celebrity to give company for lonely Adnan Sami's.

I almost expected to read news that Mrs. Ahuja was spotted filing petitions under PVDWA and 498a in a day or two.

So, I was dealt with second round of surprise, when Mrs. Ahuja came back from her shortened vacation with all of her guns blazing which were turned outwards. Media relished being dazzled and being thrown flames at. Mrs. Ahuja was fast and furious and ran out of fuel just as rapidly too.

Article titled "No qurbani this" - Simi Chandoke 23rd June 2009 in Bombay Times delved on inner workings of a woman and how and why a wife would or should respond to her adulterous husband. I sincerely urge you to read this article of Simi.

Other than the brilliant verbal show of outwardly support, Mrs. Ahuja never appeared to me as a timid Indian wife who’d support her husband, come what may. To me, she appeared every bit just as modern and just as hip Indian woman with enough frustration and pent up anger after having been married for 15 years.

Outwardly, she was showing anger on society while from within she was furious on her own husband

You’d rather believe she is devoted Indian wife? Maybe you also believe that fairies and Santa do indeed exist. For others, try and answer in 10 Ka Dum Style.

How many of husbands expect that sort of behavior from a wife of 15 years whose vacation has been shortened due to certain indiscretions of husband?

Forget others, How would your wife react if she had to shorten trip because you gave away her favourite something (crockery?) to Bhangarwaala while she was away?

There was unexpected response from one quarter in wake of Mrs. Ahuja display of her public support. Shiney managed to garnish support from one unexpected quarter.

One of the old maids of Ahuja family came out and seemed to be speaking in favor of Shiney. Gratefully, the loud mouthed old maid was quickly brushed aside and made to disappear out of lime light.

Another interesting Times of India article that opens on why women hate men in their lives that you can read by clicking on its link here

By now, you may also be starting to think along my lines and may have already guessed the pay off that Mrs. Ahuja will get by supporting Shiney in public eyes. In case you haven't, her obvious pay off is:

Parents of Shiney, the world at large and many NGOs will perhaps stay away from Shiney fooled by the illusion that he has his devoted wife to support him.

In one clean swoop, she has eliminated thousands of support lines that Shiney might have otherwise attracted.

Coming to the Point, did I hear you say:

Shiney is being framed by his very own wife!

At least that is what I think. At this point it is pertinent to answer the question: What does she gain by framing Shiney?

Many women will instantly understand when I answer this in one phrase: Sweet Revenge!

If the dear wife were to give Shiney a straight forward divorce on grounds of adultery, even if we were to assume that she proved that raping of maid was not the first incident, she'd have to wait for many years and visit court umpteen times. After that at the very best, she'd get 70 to80% of his assets.

If Shiney was not naive at defending himself, he would deploy enough legal tactics to frustrate her and prevent her from gaining a lot of his assets or slow her down.

I honestly hope Shiney does not have a very big Insurance Policy in his name of Shiney otherwise with enough pressure, he'd only be too grateful to commit suicide.

You still think, I am blowing a lot of hot air? Ok, Then! Explain this!

"If Shiney had genuine support from his wife outside of jail who had access to media and had been aware of all that was being written, would Shiney be allowed to really put forth a bail application on grounds of being from a good family?"

Imagine who would be laughing with glee when public at large responded to Shiney's assertion of being from good family with "Yeah, Right! But then, so is my DOG!"

With a rape allegation, fast track processing and absurdly ridiculous bail application, Shiney is locked away and completely out of the way and not even in position to protect even one rupee of his earning.

His lawyer has by now seems to have been briefed into releasing so many confusing and contradicting press releases that soon people will forget about this little naughty lamb that was once named Shiney.

Therefore, the best strategy for Mrs. Ahuja is to continue with her attacks on Shiney behind closed doors but appears in public eyes as devoted Indian wife.

With this approach, She stands to gain 100% of his assets more or less immediately.

I’d say that she is playing the brilliant act of "classic wolf with the face of lamb" game.

Last piece of enigma in Shiney rape case for many is the visit from NCW chief and the fast tracking of the entire case.

After all, there are thousands of rape cases. Ministers of India are known to remain unmoved in face of November terrorist attacks. NCW chief did not come to Mumbai when there was a horrific incest case of Mira road teen sisters largely aided by her parents followed by reports of more incest cases all over India and NCW chief did not even bat an eyelid.

NCW Chief has put in her weight behind this case and regardless of what you may think, the reason for the same is not the maid at all.

NCW chief is too busy otherwise to create laws to destroy innocent men. Political strings were being pulled by someone in Delhi. Me thinks that it is none other than dear .....

What is the NCW chief interested in? If you allow me to venture a guess, I'd say

NCW chief’s interest is because a "ground-breaking" experiment that may bring about paradigm shift on how a man (husband) can be robed in record time was being conducted in Mumbai. NCW chief just had to see the key players for self.

Amidst the rubble of Indian Democracy

On 26th Jan 1950, India emerged as a democractic nation.

In democratic governance, theory states that the candidates preferred by maximum number of votes get to rule.

As India is indeed a very large country with so many distinctions amidst voters. Politicians face enormous problem of coming up strategies to ensure that they get enough votes to win.

Instead of rising above the din to create their own identity, these leaders opted to subterfuge the democratic process.

Each soon realized that it is very hard to gain majority by the most honest means. It would require one to live up to ideals that are way too difficult.

So each aspiring politician did the next best thing.

They strived to identify a group of voter that was large enough for them to have some hold.

In order to achieve maximum number of votes from this small subsection of populace, they looked for ideas that would appeal to everyone within that group and enable them to present as one homogenous identity.

Once the homogenous group with its own identity is established, some time is devoted in figuring out the issues that will make this group resonate as one.

Sometimes issues are all too self-evident. Sometimes issues have to be created out of nowhere.
Sometimes core issues have to distilled out of diverse range of real problems identified.

With the list of core issues, Politicians present themselves as the first person in India to be able to identify the issue and starts offering promises to resolve the issue. Shower of appeasement begins.

Appeasing a small group was only smaller part of the solution.

Larger part of problem was to ensure that the small group somehow managed to appear taller than rest when it came to counting of votes.

Since the homogenous group cannot be made drastically big, the next obvious thing is to make break all those that will not definitely not blend or are too large.

Rest of the voters that cannot clearly resonate with target homogenous group is hammered.

It is to be hammered and broken down into pieces in such a manner that each new piece is smaller than the target homogenous peice.

Thus, the lofty ideals of Democracy were reduced to game of chafing and hammering.

Each Politician continues along different variations of the same general theme and keeps coming up with different group from populace to appease and break the rest.

At every election, different homogenous group needs to be carved out. The group that is being appeased is showered with gifts such as reservations, guaranted employment, lowering of academic standards.

Sometimes its Muslims vs Hindus
Sometimes its Sikh Vs Hindus
Sometimes its Ram Janmabhoomi
Sometimes its Dalit
Sometimes its Women and domestic violence
Sometimes its Marathi vs rest of India

After all it is lot cheaper to shower 10 people with lavish gifts to secure entry than to work hard and gain trust of 100s.

Divide and Rule of Pandit Nehru

Disclaimer: I hold no grudge against anyone when I express my views, none of my comment are meant to be interpreted adversely. I am merely stating my interpretation of history of India.

I am certain that most of you have heard of the famous "Divide and rule" policy.

Most famous users were British rulers of India whose core aim was to exploit, loot and pillage while in India. Britishers used it amidst two Indian Kingdoms and also amidst Hindu and Muslims. Of all the things they did while they were ruling in India, Use of Divide & Rule Policy was probably the worst contribution of British to India.

Before Britishers came to India, India had monarchy with lots of Kings, Queens and Kingdoms, I believe there were around 500 kingdoms in 1947.

Britishers were most effectively persuaded by Gandhi who did publicly give up some of his own material comforts for the cause.

Many in Modern India assert that Gandhiji was a feminist. However I truth has more shades of gray and I can see the shrewdness of Gandhiji. He was fighting with Britishers for Indian identity and right to be ruled by one's own self. That was the TRUTH as he interpreted it. That was the TRUTH that gave him energy to do what he needed to do. He did realize that fight for the TRUTH was long and arduous battle and to win, he needed support of the masses.

He probably wondered if British would attack unarmed women in public. His ruse worked. He rapidly gained support of Indian woman. He continued working on with progressively mild mannerisms and thought provoking speeches.

Once women supported Gandhiji, many Indian men followed. So, there is certain truth in arguments that Gandhiji favored women over men to serve his ends, it can hardly be labelled as Feminism. Gandhiji was not exploiting Women to rule India. He certainly was not deploying Divide and Rule Policy over Genders. For most part, his desire was to prevent Britishers from using Divide and Rule Policy between Hindu and Muslims.

It is misrepresentation to call Gandhi's viewpoints on women as feminism. Most Women that surrounded Gandhiji were not seeking what modern feminist seek nowadays.

Gandhi with all his shortfalls were did correctly foresse that the TRUE India lived in its villagesand wanted progress to think of villages first. I do not even know what Gandhi had in mind.

Right to rule the Freed India went straight to Pandit Nehru. As if honoring the ancient traditions of monarch, it has more or less stayed within that family. Unfortunately for Indians, Divide and Rule Policy that was supposedly booted out with Britishers sneaked back in into Indian Politics.

PM Pandit Nehru in his policies consciously or unconsciously took refuge in British thimking and continued to create nation along the path that was already set out by Britishers. He was the probably the most influential Indian who was Indian in appearance and British in thinking. I've come up with a term "BROWN GORA" to describe such people. Not long ago, I was also one of them. (Now I do not know how to classify myself)

By focusing on British model of Urban Zones for Industry and few other thoughts predominantly derived from west, Pandit Nehru encouraged creation of many excellent educational all over India. Seeds were sown in converting modern India into a factory that supplied skilled and unskilled workers in all field and in all price ranges. These institutes still continue to sprout even today.

Thus, PM Nehru reused Divide and Rule Policy thus giving birth to Urban and Rural Divide. Division of Rich and Poor. Division of Indians who learnt British way of thinking versus those who did not. All those who were prepare to learn British ways prospered gradually turning into Brown Goras while those who refused went downwards.

Most Indians who resisted Britishers did start learning from Brown Goras what they had resisted from Britishers. Indian culture and values that so valiantly resisted against 200 years of British rule eroded extremely fast. In an desperate attempt to be prosperous, Rural India has graciously given ground to Brown Goras.

The Irony of this is apparant and totally in-your-face when you visit religious places such as Vrindavan.
All locals are walking around in Pants and Shirt or TShirts, while all foreigner neo-Vaishnavites from all over the West are parading with shaved heads, shikha, tilak, Dhoti and Kurta.

Barring few notable exceptions, all Congress leaders have continued the model of converting India into nation that supplies manpower as its core identity in the world. India has continued to morph into nation of skilled workers.

With supply being so much higher than the demand, trend of brain drain emerged. Skilled Workers set eyes on USA, UK and other western countries while semi skilled and unskilled workers opted Gulf or any other countries. People in Rural India aspired to move to Indian urbania for exactly identical reasons.

Tenacity, Resourcefulness, Intelligence, Workmanship of Migrant Indians continues to be well respected wherever they go. Indians in USA are generally more affluent relative to an American. Biharis in Mumbai are generally more tenacious than Maharashtrian. Maharashtrian in Gujarat is often better off than people in his immediate strata.

I too was one of them. I too was product of modern India that was created by Pandit Nehru and I did cross the Rich and Poor divide only to realize that there is one more layer below it.

Were it not for Divorce, I would have never thought about all this. I was happy that I was on the sunnier side of Pandit Nehru's Divide.

As I now realize how this divide and policy that was started long before I was conceived affect me so much, I sit wondering what does it mean for rest of my life.

I do question myself how much of Indian I still am.

How many Indians are still left?

More Important, What does it mean to be an Indian?

Is this blog worthwhile or should it chucked into electronic blackhole?

Kahin pe Nigahe Kahin pe Nishana

Reproduced from Times of India Column: POLITICALLY INCORRECT
'Show me the real evidence' 8 Feb 2009, 0112 hrs IST, Shobhaa De

My neighbour is a really difficult chap. There are no major problems as such. I am ok. He's ok. Same soil ke phool etc. But it's his dogs that drive me crazy. I have nothing against kuttas - provided they are well-trained, well-behaved and don't crap on my doorstep. Even I have kuttas.
But they aren't anything like my neighbour's. I have control over mine, and if they ever mess up my neighbour's space, I take full responsibility... and clean up after them. It's the right neighbourly thing to do... right?
We have had touch-and-go incidents in the past, and exchanged angry words over this issue. But this time my neighbour's kuttas have gone a bit too far. They tore into my home and destroyed everything in sight.
Worse, they caught my own dogs (and me!) napping. Taking full and total advantage of the situation, they created havoc in our lives and left crucial evidence behind - a huge mass of dog poop.
This was just too much. I called up my neighbour to protest, but he hung up on me, the bloody so-and-so! I called again... and again. But he refused to answer. Finally, in sheer frustration, I called a common friend to complain about the outrage. He was good enough to offer immediate intervention. But that's because he is a Gora and often borrows my neighbour's car when his own conks out.
Still, i thought it was pretty sweet of him to take up this ugly matter with that crazy man. Two hours later, the Gora called to say he'd had a word with the kuttawallah, who told him it was not his kuttas that had entered my home in the first place! I was stunned, shocked and enraged. "What the hell does he mean?" i demanded angrily. "Of course, those were his dogs... i know their paw prints... why, even their poop is pretty distinct given the strange diet they're on." The Gora promised to get back. I waited... and waited. Finally, he called to say, "Proof. He wants evidence. Can you prove the damage was done by his dogs and not your own?" I nearly fainted. "Are you nuts? Why would my dogs do this to me in my own home?" The Gora remained impassive. And the neighbour refused to open the door when i knocked. We were clearly getting nowhere. So, i rang yet another neighbour. This one had also been attacked in the elevator by those kuttas. "Why don't we join forces?" i suggested. And that's exactly what we did. Being civil with that guy was getting us nowhere. "Shall we just break down his door and barge into his house to confront the liar?" my co-sufferer asked. "Forget it... we don't want this to escalate and involve the entire building," i said resignedly. Then i got a brain wave - if it's hard evidence he wants, it's hard evidence he'll get. I got down on all fours to collect samples of poop, tufts of doggy hairs... even a broken tooth that had fallen off during the attack. I made three or four neat packets and sent them off to the secretary of the building society. One lot, I handed over to the scoundrel next door via his driver. "This poop does not belong to my dogs," he thundered from the window across my room.... "and the hair do not match my pets' either. As for the tooth... it is clearly a plant to compromise me and my dogs. It is clearly non-state dogs you should be tracking. In fact, this whole thing is a conspiracy because actually you want to grab my flat, my dogs would never do such a thing. Never. I do not accept your evidence because i know it is concocted. My dogs did not leave my home that night... and i can prove it." I was speechless. I certainly didn't expect this from a man who always had a smile plastered on his face whenever we met to discuss matters of mutual interest. "Come and see the damage for yourself... get any neutral person of your choice to assess it. It is your dogs and your dogs alone that are responsible and unless you admit it, i am going to unleash mine on your home just to teach you a lesson." My neighbour laughed. His kuttas were about to crap again. And mine were still sleeping.

Did I see a Brown Gora

me: Hi
Crusade: hi
me: Have you ever wondered of any similarities between our fight and freedome struggle of India from Britishers?
Crusade: have you?
me: I have. As a matter of fact. since 20th August to be precise
Crusade: hmmm
me: I had just come from AUS and feeling all good to be amidst Indians outside Shoppers stop in Andheri. A well dressed man asked some parked auto fellow to take him somewhere. The auto guy refused claiming he was booked and had got someone from bandra to shoppers stop about rs. 80 in meter. the other guy got very angry. screamed in very refined English for about 5 minutes and threatened auto guy badly using words like bastards, mother fucker, desi, chutiya, bhaiya, hijda and what not.
Crurusade: hmmm
me: I intervened and told that yes, I had seen the someone come in auto so the bugger yelled on me too. I replied back in English firmly and the guy backed off. I was always wondering if I had seen a BROWN GORA who was opressing the illiterate Indians.
Crusade: hmm
me: And the same thoughts are evident. Britishers opressed Indian as a foreigners. WCD, PWDVA, judiciary at the end of day is an idea that is driven by a british mindset. Indian justice prior to british was definitely not the court room based as in the west.
Crusade: hmmm
me: It is exactly opressive in similar does albeit different styles
Crusade: yep, right?
me: I have half written poem that kind of says, Traders came. Kings were dumbos. Traders become rulers. Nanga Fakir aka Gandhi came. He told Rulers to go. Rulers left one fine day. Whatever happened to traders?
Have we as a country substituted British Government run by our own homemade BROWN GORA?
Crusade: hmmm
me: poem is not well written and does not rhyme so it is just work in progress?
Are you, me all become nothing but brown gora who opress our own in a perverted sense of word?
me: Have the traders really left India or brought new friends here for party from rest of the western world
Crusade: hmmm
me: say beyond hmmm, man!
Crusade: what to say?I am reading whatever you are sending
me: say if you think i am talking crap. I can take it. I was married for lot longer.
Crusade: hahhha
nothing like that
don't have anything to comment now
if you can mail me the poem it will be nice
me: it is on paper. was not with comp when the thoughts came
will send it to you though.
Crusade: ok
me: As a society, nothing has really changed. In those days, we had aristorcrats (brits), first pedigree Indians (), second, third and so on. Until we reach destitutes. that is what we still have. most aristos are americans or american affiliated and rest is same until we get to big pool of poor.
Crusade: hmmm
me: only the survivors (middle class) has emerged big which is largely working 9 to 5 and commuting for 3 hours breaking backs slaving for lots and lots of MNCS.
me: I was in the same group too. My desi employer used to charge $150 per hour for the time they sold in my name to A big Western client of which I got little over $1 per hour.
Crusade: hmmm
hmmm
me: I need to know if I am just having crap thoughts or they've got substance
Crusade: you mail it to me.
will be in a better position to submit comment
me: I mean I want comment on these thoughts.that I gave in this chat
Crusade: nice thoughts
blog them
me: ok

So Said Benjamin Franklin

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither the liberty nor the safety.

- So Said Benjamin Franklin

What a profound quote!!!

Its sheer mind numbing to ponder over his words and its relevance to current global temparements. Worldwide more and more places are dressing up with more security enhancing gadgets and scrutinizing everyone who walks on two.

India in last few years has had to face lot of unprovoked attacks on its citizens and they in turn have yielded, nay demanded to have more and more scrutiny of
everyone.

Just cause a terrorist may look like one of us, we are all required to give up our privacy that our forefathers took for granted. We have ourselves scanned at the entrys of malls, the railway stations, any public place ... as we go about our daily business ...

Ironically enough when there were no such checks, there were no such terrorists attacks either!!!

With increased checks, papers report that we've had 57 attacks in a 2008. What a year!!! That is more than one a week!!! I've already stopped counting. Its depressing!!!

What is the way out of this terrorism mess, Dear Mr. Franklin!!

There is large section of media that blames your successors who've resided in the White House long after you've departed.

Myself, an commoner residing in India with little knowledge seem to be agreeing to everyone and in process losing essential and non-essential liberty!!!

Can you please help, Mr. Franklin?
